Bone Nutrition is not just a calcium supplement. It is a complete ‘bone food’ supplying a wide range of nutrients for total bone health. Also, the minerals in Bone Nutrition are highly absorbable and consequently more expensive. Most calcium supplements contain only chalk, exactly the same as the chalk you use to write on a blackboard. This allows the manufacturers to put large amounts of very cheap calcium in their tablets – but they don’t tell you that the absorption rate is probably less than 10%. Magnesium is normally added in only small amounts, if at all, and is usually in the least absorbable form.
Bone Nutrition contains equal quantities of calcium and magnesium – the latter as citrate.
